Vasco-Patna weekly superfast train extended

As part of additional services for rail passengers, the South Western Railway (SWR) has informed that the Vasco-Patna-Vasco weekly superfast festival special (fully reserved) train has been extended.

Train 02741 Vasco-Patna Weekly Superfast Festival Special (fully reserved) will leave from Vasco at 7.05 pm every Wednesday from December 2 to December 30. The train will reach Patna at 12.10 pm on the third day.

Train 02742 Patna–Vasco Weekly Superfast Festival Special (fully reserved) will leave from Patna at 2 pm every Saturday from December 5 to January 2, 2021. The train will reach Vasco-Da-Gama at 8.55 am on the third day.

The train will halt at Margao Jn, Tivim, Sawantwadi Road, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Panvel, Kalyan Jn, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad Jn, Bhusawal Jn, Khandwa, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur Jn, Katni Jn, Satna Jn, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Buxar and Ara Junction station.

The train has a total of 21 coaches, Two Tier AC (1 coach), 3 Tier AC (2 coaches), Sleeper (11 coaches), Second Seating (5 coaches) and a sleeper (2 coaches).

All norms of State and Central governments regarding COVID-19, including social distancing, sanitisation will be followed in trains and at railway stations, the SWR added.
