A 26-year-old man working as a helper at a car washing centre/garage was electrocuted in Mapusa early Wednesday morning, police said.
The deceased was identified as Parshuram Lamani who was presently residing at Colvale.
Police informed, the helper arrived at the washing centre at around 6 am and immediately went to put on the switch when he suffered the electric shock.
The deceased was found collapsed on the floor only after the owner arrived at the spot after almost an hour.
He was immediately shifted to the North Goa District Hospital where he was declared brought dead. Mapusa Police are investigating further.
