Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has extended his warm greetings to the people of Goa on the occasion of Republic Day.
Chief Minister in his message said, Our Constitution bestowed every right to be Citizen of this free democratic Nation. But these rights are inherited with responsibilities to adhere to the tenets of our democracy i.e. justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.
Chief Minister further stated that, ``As we enjoy fundamental rights given by the Constitution, every citizen has to follow our fundamental duties to keep the democratic principles of the Nation on a high rank.``
I pay rich tributes to all those great souls whose struggle and selfless sacrifices made India a free country, and also to all great luminary who framed our constitution and gave us right to be in democratic Nation,he added.
