PANAJI: A Cyber Security Essentials Workshop by international cybercrime expert Dr Rakshit Tandon was held on Wednesday for students of Sharda Mandir School, Miramar, and S S Dempo College, Cujira. At Sharda Mandir, over 500 students from Classes 9 to 12 attended an interactive session on digital safety, cyber hygiene, and responsible online behaviour. Later, at Dempo College, students also explored career opportunities in the cybersecurity field.
The sessions were organised by Cogniflux Training and Consulting Pvt Ltd, with its founder Manoj Patil highlighting the need for youth to be aware of cyber threats and stay protected in the digital age. The next workshop in the series will be held on 12th June at Mustifund School in the morning, followed by a session for CEOs and senior executives at Taj Cidade de Goa, Dona Paula, in the evening. On 13th June, a corporate programme for professionals and IT experts is scheduled at Hotel Ferns Kadamba, Old Goa.
