Cortalim Block Congress Committee Secretary Dr Marconi Correia has written to GPCC President Girish Chodankar to withdraw his claim to the Cortalim constituency party ticket at the upcoming assembly election.
The Cortalim Block Congress Committee had proposed four names, including his name, to the election committee consisting of M K Shaikh, Sunil Hanumanvar and Prakash Rathod in Zuarinagar on November 26. Dr Correia said he was withdrawing his candidature in favour of Olencio Simoes.
