OLD GOA
A demonstration and awareness campaign on EVM-VVPAT was conducted at Old Goa and Cumbharjua panchayats on Thursday. While the campaign was held in Old Goa panchayat in the morning, the same was organised at Cumbharjua panchayat in the evening. With Assembly elections round the corner, the campaign is being held in different parts of the State to make the voters aware of functioning of the EVM, particularly the new voters. At Old Goa panchayat, Dattaprasad Shirodkar led the campaign and was assisted by BLOs Saish Tirodkar and Lilesh Shirodkar.
