A 72-year-old farmer died after slipping from a bandh at Corjuem-Aldona on Monday evening. According to reports, the deceased Sakharam Nagvekar lost his balance and fell down. He died on the spot.
A Mapusa police led by PSI Sunil Patil and Hawaldar Ricky Fernandes conducted the panchanam and later sent the body for an autopsy.
