The Candelaria Chapel at Pilerne will celebrate the Feast of Presentation of the Lord on February 2.
There will be a Divine Mercy Rosary, at 3 pm followed by adoration from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm. There will also be confessions from 4.30 pm to 5 pm followed by mass. There will be blessings of candles before the Eucharistic celebrations, followed by procession. The Pilerne Art Socio Cultural Association (PASCA) will organise the Pilerne Thursday Heritage Market on February 2 from 5pm onwards where locals sell their produce. There will be games, live music, etc. This Thursday is dedicated to Robin Vaz, a famous Tiartist, whose songs will be sung. Since February 4 is World Cancer day, Ninoska Fernandes, a cancer survivor from Pilerne, will have a chat with us and will share her testimony.
