Filmatics, a film club was launched at the Don Bosco College in Panaji in the presence of producer, Rajesh Pednekar and director Sainath Uskaikar of the film ‘Wagro’ shortlisted for the Cannes Film Festival (2022). Sonika Lotlikar, assistant professor spoke on the occasion.
The club logo was unveiled and the club council was formed to guide young film lovers with Keshvino Pires, Devonna Gomes, Joel Rodrigues and Mario Pimenta as president, vice president, treasurer and media-coordinator, respectively. The Creative Star of the month award was given to Siya Chodankar, Prachi Shirodkar, Saisma Naik, Danika D’Sa, Pratik Kerkar and Aaron Morais. In the interactive session chief guests shared their experiences in terms of film direction, production and screenplay. They offered advice, tips and tricks to the students.
