A 39-year-old employee of a starred hotel in Canacona ended his life on Thursday.
According to Canacona Police, the deceased Abhishek Hirapuri, a resident of Hubli, committed suicide in a rented room at Tarir.
Police conducted the panchanama and shifted the body to the District Hospital at Margao for post-mortem examination.
Canacona PI Chandrakant Gawas said the family of the deceased has been contacted and further investigation is underway.
