The Goa Legal Services Authority has organised a Mega Legal Services Camp on NALSA Scheme (Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganised Sector) and Labour Day will be observed on May 1 at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda at 09.30 am. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with all the High Court Judges, Ministers and other dignitaries will grace the function.

PANAJILions Club of Calangute and Leo Club of Calangute distributed scholarships of Rs 3000 to 10 students each of 5 schools in Calangute ie St Joseph's High School, St Dominic Savio People High School, Don Bosco High School, Little Flower of Jesus High School and Vidhyaniketan High School.
