PANAJIMandre College of Commerce, Economics and Management in association with State Patent Information Center and Goa State Council for Science and Technology, Saligao organised a State Level Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) on September 22 in the college seminar hall. The chief guest for the seminar was Advocate Ramakant Khalap, former Law Minister of India and the guest speakers for the seminar were Advocate Shalini Menezes, founder and director of SimSim Advisory Pvt Ltd and Deepak Parab, Project Scientist (Environment) Nodal Officer for GI.‌ Objective of the seminar was to create awareness about IPRs, especially patents, trademarks and copyrights among students and faculty members. Advocate Lida Joao introduced the guest speakers, Assistant Prof in Business Law Ruchika Naik compered and welcomed the gathering and Assistant Prof Darshana Kerkar proposed vote of thanks. Assistant Professor Chaitali Gawas coordinated the entire seminar.
