Musical programme at Colvale temple today

A musical programme has been organised at Shree Ram temple, Colvale on April 17 at 4.30 pm wherein singer Shreepad Chodankar will perform abhang, bhav geet and bhakti geet.

Vitthal Khandolkar and Raju Kolvalkar will accompany him on samvadini and tabla, respectively. Harsha Salgaonkar and Sushama Narvekar will sing the chorus. Currently, an ongoing kirtan programme is being celebrated on the occasion of Ram Navami at the temple since Gudi Padwa and the kirtankar is Prashantbua Dhond. Vidhyadhar Naik is accompanying him on organ and Sanket Naik on tabla.

Suresh Walve's oil painting inaugurated

PANAJIThe oil painting of veteran Goan journalist Suresh Walve and his pictorial life story was inaugurated at Vhalshi Walve hall in Bicholim at the hands of senior artists Sanjay Harmalkar and Dr Subodh Kerkar. The programme was organised at Shree Taleshwar temple on the occasion of Gudi Padwa in the presence of locals as well as other personalities from Goa. Dr Subodh Kerkar introduced Suresh Walve and narrated his contribution to Vhalshi village.
