PHC Candolim in the association with Lions Club of Calangute and Leo Club of Calangute initiated home vaccination for citizens who cannot visit the Covid-19 vaccination centres due to old age or disabilities. Lions Club President Lion Murtaza Mathernwala said two elderly people of age 99 and 92 were vaccinated at their home in Calangute and appealed to people who are bedridden and the elderly to contact their local Panch members and get vaccinated. The team comprising one doctor, two nurses, will visit the homes of those who cannot travel to vaccination centres. Dr Durgesh along with 2 nurses, ZC MJF Lion Illyas Rajabali, Lion Club President Lion Murtaza Mathernwala, Leo Club President Leo Sagar Lawande were present.
