The electricity department will shut down power supply at Agonda, Khola, Poinguinim and Loliem-Polem on account of pre-monsoon maintenance on different days between Thursday and Friday. According to the Assistant Engineer (electricity dept), the power shutdown will take place from 9 am to 1 pm on Thursday at the 11kv Agonda Feeder for line maintenance and tree-pruning works. There will, accordingly, be no power to the entire areas of Agonda village, besides the village of Khola including Molorem, Cabo-De-Rama and Adpem. On Thursday, the power shut down will take place at the Loliem Feeder from 8 am to 1 pm and there will be no power supply in the areas of Loliem-Polem, including Katebhag, Galgibaga in Poinguinim village. On Friday, entire Poinguinim village will have no power supply as the line maintenance and tree-pruning works will be undertaken from 8 am to 1 pm.
