Tree saplings were planted at the Chandor Traffic Island jointly by Seamens Association and Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott yesterday. The theme was "Oxygen is not a fear, when trees are near" and "Grow plants and save Earth". The theme posters were prepared by Frewin D'souza, student of St Joseph Educational Institute, Chandor.
PANAJI United Club of Utorda launched a youth wing at their installation ceremony held at Utorda. Outgoing President Anthony LC Fernandes addressed the gathering with a report in presence of Chief Guest Fr Arvino Fernandes, President Agnelo Pereira and VP Remy Pereira.
