The "Goa Beyond Beaches" Quiz Competition, organized by Goa Tourism Development Corporation, concluded successfully at the historic Reis Magos Fort with a grand prize distribution ceremony. 45 Teams from Colleges Across Goa participated in quiz competition .The dignitaries present on this occasion were Chairman of GTDC Kedar J. Naik, Managing Director of GTDC Kuldeep Arolkar, General Manager of GTDC Gavin Dias, and Dy.General Manager, GTDC Deepak Narvekar. GR Kare College of Law, Margao bagged the first prize while Smt Parvatibai Chowgule College, Margao and Goa Engineering College, Farmagudi secured second and third prizes respectively. The fourth place and fifth place were bagged by Goa University History Department, Taleigao and College of Multidisciplinary Studies, Margao respectively. The winning teams were felicitated with cash prizes and trophies, while mementos were presented to all participating colleges as a token of appreciation.The programme was compered by Larisa Fernandes, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Deepak Narvekar.
