Konkani Bhasha Mandal (KBM) is organising fourth Bal Sahitya Parishad from November 2-6 through an online platform. The children’s conference will be telecast live on the YouTube channel and Facebook page of KBM from 6-8 pm. Due to the pandemic, KBM has used online platforms to broadcast the sessions. The conference aims at discussing aspects of children's literature while also deliberating on the need to spread reading culture amongst kids.
The conference will be inaugurated on November 2 at 6 pm, followed by the keynote speech by noted children's writer Vinod Kumar Shukla. Parishad will have discussion sessions on the topics ‘Audio-visual children’s literature’, ‘Importance of children’s theatre’, ‘Translating children’s books’, ‘Pictures in children’s literature’ and ‘Presentation of children’s literature’.
