Kala Academy will be holding the 46th edition of the State level Konkani drama competition and those who wish to participate in it are invited to submit their application forms by January 27. The series number of the drama will be decided by lottery system and announced on the same day at 4 pm at KA office at Adilshah palace in Panaji. There is a 10-day period kept for withdrawing the application. Beyond this period, no application can be withdrawn. Those who wish to participate in the contest should pay an entry fee of Rs 400 along with their application form and Rs 7,000 as a deposit with the KA. This amount will be accepted every morning during the working hours between 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. Only those organisations that are registered and renewed under the 1860 Act can participate in the contest. A copy of the registration of the organisation or its renewal should be attached with the application form as a proof.
