The aarti booklet published by the Astavinayak Group, Quepem was released recently. The booklet is for free distribution in the locality, stated Nilesh Raut Desai, president of the Group. The secretary Gokuldas Gaonkar, treasurer Dinesh Kalekar, vice president Sandip Desai, joint secretary Rajesh Naik, joint treasurer Gautam Raikar, members Nilesh Naik Desai, Vitthal Gaus Desai, Suraj Prabhudesai, Saicharan Raikar and others were present on the occasion of book release.

PANAJI Director of Social Welfare Umesh Joshi has said all applications from the Other Backward Class (OBC) for the post-metric scholarship would be disbursed before September 30. “All applications have been scrutinised.
