Bhom-Adcolna Sarpanch Sunil Jalmi on Tuesday said the Banastarim Bazaar which had been stopped since April 27, will resume from September 1, adding that work on the new bazaar is underway. "The site for the new bazaar is under construction and it will be put into use from December. At present, the bazaar is shifted behind the Hanuman temple," said Jalmi, during a news conference in the presence of other panchas. He informed that the Banastari Bazaar takes place every Thursday and Friday, adding that the famous Chaturthi Bazaar will take place on September 7 and 8.He also informed that last year Sopo tax was not charged due to the Covid pandemic.“The issue of whether or not to levy the Sopo tax this year will be decided at the upcoming panchayat meeting,” Jalmi added.
