The Kadamba Transport Corporation has resumed its electric air-conditioned intra-city bus service as well as the inter-state Panaji-Karwar bus service from Monday.
“KTC is the only transport service provider which offers this of AC electric bus intra-city service,” said KTC Managing Director Rajan Ghate.
“The AC electric buses are plying along the Panaji-Cortalim-Margao and Margao-Canacona routes. The electric bus service had to be stopped due to the pandemic shortly after they were launched in the State.”
Ghate informed that the KTC shuttle service has also resumed on these routes.
He informed that the KTC resume six interstate routes from September 1. These routes consist of Panaji-Mumbai-Borivali (Volvo), Margao-Pune (AC Sleeper), Vasco-Solapur (luxury), Panaji-Bangalore (Volvo), Margao-Pune (luxury) and Margao-Mumbai-Dhobitalav (AC sleeper).
“The KTC has already resumed services to Belagavi and soon, bus services to Panaji-Shirdi and Panaji-hyderabad routes will be restarted,” said Ghate.
