MARGAO: Benfica YC defeated Velsao SCC by 4-2 in the 2nd Division League match at Cansaulim Sports Complex ground. Abdul Wahab Makandar, Krunal Naik and Rohit Gaekwad scored a goal each while Reagan Soares of Velsao added own goal to Benfica's tally of four goals. For Velsao SCC Reagan Soares and Francisco Monteiro scored a goal each.
At Tilak Maidan Vasco- Vasco City SCC got the better of United Youth Club Bogmalo by 7-3. Abhishek Kumar Singh scored a hat-trick, Aneesh Harmalkar scored a brace while Rowan Fernandes and Chandrakant Shedad scored a goal each for Vasco City. Ivan Fernandes, Valroy Dias and Ajay Patel were the scorers for UYC Bogmalo.
