Bicholim CHC begins vaccination for bedridden, 8 get jab

The government of Goa has been implementing the vaccination mission across the State and is aiming at completing the population by October 30. As part of its initiative to vaccinate the bedridden patients and persons at their bedside, the Bicholim CHC staff under the guidance of health officer Dr Medha Salkar, visited homes to vaccinate them. “A total of eight such persons were vaccinated on day one. A total of 126 bedridden beneficiaries are enlisted under CHC Bicholim who need to be vaccinated soon. We shall be carrying out the campaign and complete the vaccination at bedside in due course of time,” stated health officer Dr Medha Salkar. Those assisted in the vaccination were Dr Sneha Haldankar, nurse Omshree, ANM Anita Gawas, MPHW Santosh Gawas, MTS Sanjay Zore, driver Jayant and ext. educator Sulochani Chandroji.
