MARGAO
The Fatorda police arrested one Santosh Yadav, 28 yrs, a native of Bihar, presently staying at Aquem-Margao near the railway station in an auto theft case. The police has recovered one two wheeler which was stolen from Margao.The accused along with stolen vehicle was handed over to Margao PS for further investigation. The accused was nabbed when a LIB team of Fatorda consisting of Nilesh Kasker, Subhash Naik, Somnath Naik and Babloo Zore while on patrol noticed one person moving suspiciously on a two-wheeler at Borda area. When he was told to stop by staff, he instead fled. The LIB staff chased him for a distance of two km and managed to nab him. He later confessed about crime, Fatorda PI Kapil Nayak said.
