“The Bardeskars “ The Mystery of Migration,” a research-based book written by Alphie Monteiro which explores the brief history of Goan Catholic settlers in Upper Ghats region, will be published through virtual mode on Saturday. Bishop of Belgaum Derek Fernandes, Bishop Allwyn Baretto of Sindhudurg and Bishop Thomas Dabre of Pune diocese will release the book from the Bishop’s House in Belgaum at 4 pm, while others will join the event virtually. Noted writers and activists who will present their views include Fr (Dr) Savio Baretto, Dr Michael Gonsalves, John Mendonca, Anthony Monteiro, Louis Rodrigues and Adv Peter D’Souza.
