A youth from UP died in a road mishap at Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) on Thursday morning. According to information, Suraj Singh (24) was knocked down by a truck moving inside the MPT. "Singh sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the Chicalim Sub District Hospital, where he expired while undergoing treatment.”
“A case has been registered at the Mormugao police station and the truck driver was was arrested in this connection and later released on bail," said the source.
Mormugao PSI Yeshwant Raikar is further investigating the case.
