PANAJIDepartment of Library Science in collaboration with First Aid and Health Watch Cell and Directorate of Health Centre-Tuvem, successfully organised a Booster Dose Camp and Breast Check Up Camp recently. The inauguration of both the camps began with the floral welcome of the medical team in the hands of Chairman of Harmal Panchakroshi Shikshan Mandal, Laxmikant Parsekar. Head of Medical team Dr Swati Anvekar addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the booster dose and why females should undergo a breast screening test. Student, Rahi Padloskar anchored the programme. Chairman, Laxmikant Parsekar inspired and motivated the gathering with regards to booster dose and breast screening test for women. Altogether 75 teaching, non-teaching staff of Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Harmal Panchakroshi Higher Secondary School, Harmal Panchakroshi High School and some villagers from nearby villages were the beneficiaries of the booster dose and around 37 female staff of Harmal Panchakroshi Shikshan Mandal were beneficiaries from breast check-up screening.
