BICHOLIM
Burglars broke into a house at Sashtiwada in Bordem-Bicholim on Monday and decamped with a silver idol and silver glasses in the hall, all approximately worth Rs 20,000.
Bicholim police said the burglars entered the house by breaking open the locks of the iron grilled door and later making a hole in the wooden door behind the house.
The house owner Radhika Milind Shirodkar has lodged a complaint in the matter and police have registered an offence under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of IPC. PSI Viraj Dhauskar is investigating the case under the guidance of PI Rahul Naik.
