Central funds for Goa to meet GST shortfall

The Centre released Rs 787.61 crore to Goa to meet the GST compensation shortfall.  The Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, released the 16th weekly installment of Rs 5,000 crore to the States on Monday to meet the GST compensation shortfall.

IMD predicts light rainfall in Goa

PANAJI Light rain and thundershower are very likely at isolated places across Goa between February  17 and 19, informed IMD Goa.  “As on today there is a weather system called “trough” (change in direction of winds) running from North Kerala to madhya Maharashtra,” a release stated and added, “It is likely that minimum temperatures will rise by 1-2 degrees from Tuesday onwards.”
