Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today held a meeting to discuss various Central Government Tribal Development Schemes implemented through the Directorate of Tribal Welfare.
The meeting held at Conference hall, Ministerial Block Secretariat Porvorim was attended by Secretary to Chief Minister, J.Ashok Kumar, IAS; OSD to Chief Minister, Dr Pratibha; Secretary Directorate of Tribal Welfare, S K Bhandari, IAS; Director Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Sandhya Kamat and Assistant Director, Yogini Acharya.
During the course of discussions, the chief minister instructed the authorities of Directorate of Tribal Welfare to send proposals to Union Government for various projects in order to receive grants from the Ministry which will help uplift the living conditions of the Scheduled Tribe community in the State, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity Department.
