Bicholim police late Wednesday night seized drugs worth Rs 1.6 lakh from a painter near the Ravindra Bhavan in Sankhali. According to police, Balvir Chawan (36), painter from Lucknow-UP but residing at Housing Board, Sankhali was caught red handed in possession with 803 grams of Ganja valued at Rs 1.6 lakh, near the Ravindra Bhavan at Sankhali.An offence has been registered under theNDPS Act and Bicholim police is investigating the case.
