This idol is eco-friendly and Gaonkar is known for creating eco-friendly idols for years. Sending a message to save nature, the 4.5 ft idol will be kept open for public view for 21 days. Gaonkar has nurtured a hobby to make nature-friendly idols and other objects. The said Ganesh idol is made from around 4,000 flowers. The flowers are typical to the region and are tiny. The entire Gaonkar family has worked together to create the idol.
