As the double tracking between the Kulem-Vasco section of the South Western Railways is in progress, the Commissioner of Railway Safety will be conducting an inspection of the newly laid double line between Sanvordem“Chandor-Madgaon Section (15.64Km) as a part of double tracking between Tinaighat-Vasco on September 23.
Motor Trolley inspection of Commissioner of Railway Safety will start at 10.15 am from Sanvordem and at Madgaon at 5.10 pm on the newly laid double track. Speed trial at 120 kmph will be conducted on newly laid double track between 5.30 pm and 6 pm from Madgaon to Sanvordem/Curchorem. Hence the SWR authorities have warned the public not to cross the railway tracks as it will be risky as the train will be chugging at a very high speed.
