Kishor Naik Gaonkar, editor, Goan Varta Live received the ‘Best Journalism Award’ for 2020 by ‘Business Goa’ magazine at the hands of Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte.
The award ceremony at Hotel Mariott was attended by industrialists and entrepreneurs from Goa.
“The industrialists play a vital role in the social and economic fabric of Goa, and I consider myself lucky to get an opportunity to spend some time in their world and this experience would surely enhance my future journey as a journalist,” stated Kishor, while receiving the award. He also thanked Harshavardhan Bhatkuli, editor, Business Goa and his team for selecting him for the award.
“This award has increased my responsibility and I will surely try to shoulder it,” said the Goan Varta Live editor.
