The 10-day Goa's Popular Expo on Home & Lifestyle Products "Goa Consumer Expo Exhibition Cum Sale” began at the Ravindra Bhavan Open Ground, Margao on Friday.
The Consumer expo was inaugurated at the hands of Chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao Damu Naik.
In his address, Damu said that Ravindra Bhavan, Margao has made a beginning to host consumer expo in order to bring together consumers and traders and self-help groups under one banner.
“We have decided to allow the exhibitions and Consumer Expo at the Ravindra Bhavan to kick-start the activity and give relief to the traders, who were hit by the COVID pandemic. We have requested the organizers to ensure that certain stalls are reserved for the self help groups at the Expo to showcase and sell their products”, he said.
The exhibition starts at 10:30 am and winds up at 8:00 pm every day with the exhibition offering shopping options, besides games & entertainment zone for children.
Around 90-100 stalls have been set up at the exhibition & will display all items like crockery, carpets, cosmetics, dress materials, shirts, toys, handloom, ladies shoes, food stalls with lots of shopping, games , entertainment etc.The organizers have promised heavy festival discounts for the consumers.
