Govt to sell Rs 100 crore worth stocks

The State government on Thursday notified the sale of Goa Government Stock (Securities) of 10-year tenure for an aggregate amount of Rs 100 crore (Nominal).  The proceeds of the loans will be utilised for financing capital expenditure in connection with the development programmes of the Government of Goa. The auction of the stocks will be conducted by the RBI at its Mumbai Office on October 6.  The result of the auction shall be displayed by the RBI on its website on the same day. The payment by successful bidders will be on October 7.
