Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB) has invited applications for the Biodiversity Conservation Awards 2022. The awards are in the following categories: State Biodiversity Conservation for BMC, State Biodiversity Conservation in Individual Category, State Biodiversity Conservation Award in the field of Applied Biodiversity Research, State Biodiversity Conservation Award to Biodiversity Enthusiasts in the field of rescue/restoration and related activities, and State Biodiversity Conservation Award to Green Journalist. The GSBB has decided to take suo moto cognisance of such Biodiversity stalwarts and in this regard, GSBB/BMCs/former Biodiversity Award winners will be able to give suo moto nominations. Nomination forms are available on the official website and must be completed and submitted to the Goa State Biodiversity Board, c/o Department of Science, Technology & Environment, opp Saligao Seminary, Saligao or email: [email protected] or [email protected]. The last date for nomination is on May 25 before 4.30 pm.
