Guest house owner faces action for non-compliance with Foreigners Act

The Colva police has registered an offence under Section 16 of foreigners (Amendment order 2016) r/w sec 14 (C) of the foreigners Act 1946 against the owner of a guest house at Majorda for accommodating a French couple.

Police said the offence has been registered against the guest house owner for failing to fill up and submit the online “C” Form to the Foreigners branch, Panaji.

CANACONAA 58-year-old British national died after falling unconscious in a cottage at Patnem-Canacona on Thursday.
