CANACONA
A 58-year-old British national died after falling unconscious in a cottage at Patnem-Canacona on Thursday. According to Canacona Police, David Alan Chadwick was found lying in an unconscious state on the bed in his room at the cottage. The man was shifted for medical treatment at the Canacona Community Health Centre, where he was declared brought dead. Police informed that during an enquiry, the wife revealed that David had complained of chest pain and became unconscious. The police said the wife does not suspect any foul play. Canacona Police conducted the inquest panchanama and later shifted the body to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao for medico-legal formalities and the British embassy will be accordingly informed. Canacona Police have registered a case of unnatural death in the case. Canacona PSI Vishal L Velip is conducting further investigations.
