In these challenging times of Covid-19, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has taken it as a special task to reach out to maximum prospects and provide them the protection of life insurance. A campaign ‘Mission One Million’ has been launched in November with an objective of reaching out to one million homes in the month of November.
The performance for the month would be dedicated to the family members. A unique initiative named “Hamara Pariwar “ LIC Bima Pariwar’ has also been launched. Under the scheme, any family that takes three policies from LIC or its members will be honoured with a certificate of appreciation. In the reducing interest rate scenario, there are also various attractive plans which offer all the benefits that a prospective buyer may be looking for, including life insurance, pension, health insurance, micro insurance, liquidity, tax benefit and returns. In addition to this, the vast network of offices and different digital platforms take prompt care of the different servicing needs of the customers in Western Zone.
“We take this opportunity to appeal to all the valued customers and public of the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa to support and participate in our campaign ‘Mission One Million’ in a big way,” appeals C Vikas Rao, zonal manager, Western Zone. LIC has also stated that there is also a big scope for joining the company as an agent also for those who look for a rewarding career or additional source of income.
With the presence of 20 odd strong multinational life insurance companies, LIC stands out as a market leader with a market share of 70.21 % in number of policies and 68.88 % in first year premium (as on October 30, 2020).
The Western Zone has been a major contributor to the kitty of LIC in all key result areas “ be it new business, number of offices, number of claims settled, number of customers etc.
