The Cidas Almas Chapel in front of the Holy Spirit Church at Old market was burgled once again by miscreants.
The miscreants effected an entry into the Chapel by breaking open the main door and lifting away cash from the donation box.
Holy Spirit Church Parish Priest Fr Amandio Valladares informed that this is the second burglary that has taken place in the Chapel in the last one month. He said the miscreants broke open the main door to effect entry to decamp with the cash after breaking open the donation box.
Meanwhile, the Fatorda police claimed that the police has detained one person Amjad Khan, a native of Buldana-Maharashtra and during interrogation confessed about the crime.
The police has attached cash of Rs 1,423 from his possession. Police claimed the accused also confessed to his involvement in the previous crime at the chapel.
