The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated jointly by the MES College of Arts & Commerce and Higher Secondary section. Dr Jorson Fernandes, ENT Surgeon and a trainer icon awardee of Goa graced the occasion as chief guest. In his address, Dr Fernandes connected personal values and ethics to the Constitution of India speaking on the importance of setting fitting role models for the youth.
The event was well attended by the staff of the college and higher secondary section and the NCC cadets accorded guard of honour to the chief guest. Dr Meenakshi Bawa, Officiating Principal of the college section welcomed the gathering, Nelly Rodrigues, Principal of Higher Secondary section introduced the chief guest, Dr Sandhya N Bhandare offered a floral welcome to the chief guest, Viswanath Swar proposed the Vote of thanks and Dr S Susan Deborah compered at the occasion.
