As part of its golden jubilee celebration, Department of Information Technology and Department of Mathematics/Statistics of MES College organised a national level webinar, ‘Role of Data Analytics in Actuarial Science’ for the students of 11th and 12th Science/Commerce with mathematics background, BCom, BSc, BCA, BA students and faculties of various colleges as well as of MES college participated in the webinar which was streamed online via Google Meet.
The resource person, Akash Rughani, spoke about various insights of role of data analytics in actuarial science. He stressed on the need of actuaries for strengthening the nation as a whole. Also, he mentioned various opportunities for the students who pursue their career in actuarial science. 252 students had registered for the webinar out of which 121 attended it, which included 110 students and 11 faculty members. An e-certificate was issued to each participant.
