St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar has urged the public to come forward to donate blood as it is a noble deed which will help save someone’s life.
Speaking to The Goan after donating blood at a blood donation camp at Neura, on Sunday, Borkar informed that many people are afraid of donating blood citing various reasons.
“However, if one donates blood his or her immunity gets better as fresh blood is produced in the body,” Borkar said while adding that blood donation is a noble deed which helps in saving lives.
“We do not know when somebody will be in need of blood. Hence people should come forward without fear to donate blood,” he added.
