The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the government of Goa invites nominations for the "Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award". This award is presented in recognition of the achievement of persons associated with the field of Adventure. Ordinarily, one Award each is conferred for adventure activities on Land at Sea and in the Air. In addition, a provision has also been made for conferring one Award for "Life Time Achievement".
Interested candidates having exceptional achievement in the field of Adventure during the year 2020 besides those during the preceding two years, may submit their bio-data along with a brief write-up in the prescribed proforma listing out achievements recorded by them during the last three years including those recorded up to December 31, 2020, for consideration. Disabled persons having outstanding achievements may also apply.
The details of the achievements may be sent in two to three pages only in either Hindi or English. Interested candidates may forward their online application through the portal (https:// dbtyasyouth.gov.in).
