SC Davorlim move ahead

MARGAO: Sporting Club Davorlim defeated St Anthony's SC Assolda 4-1 to move ahead in the Betalbatim Villagers cup inter village football tournament played at Betalbatim Panchayat ground on Thursday.

Sohil Inamdar scored a brace for SC Davorlim while Reeve D'Costa and Agnelo Colaco netted a goal each for SC Davorlim. Victorino Fernandes gave lead to St. Anthony SC at the start of the match.

MARGAO: Canacona YSC defeated Parish Youth Nuvem 8-6 via the tiebreaker to enter the quarterfinals of the Areal Panchayat inter village football tournament played at Padribhat football ground on Thursday.At the normal time both the teams were tied 3-3.
