The South Western Railway (SWR) will run Train (07371 / 07372) Vasco “ Dr MGR Chennai Central-Vasco Weekly Express Special for three trips in each direction. In a press release, SWR said Train 07371 Vasco-Dr MGR Chennai Central Weekly Express Special will leave Vasco at 2.30 pm every Thursday from August 26 to September 9 (3 trips only) and reach Dr MGR Chennai Central at 11.40 am the next day.In the return direction, Train 07372 Dr MGR Chennai Central-Vasco Weekly Express Special will leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 3 pm on every Friday from August 27 to September 10 (3 trips only) and reach Vasco at 11.40 am the next day.
The train composition will have 21 coaches comprising one AC 2-tier coach, two AC 3-tier coaches, 11 second class sleeper coaches, five second class coaches and two second class luggage cum brake-vans. The special train will run as fully reserved train and passengers are requested to adhere strictly to Covid -19 norms of central/state government: wear mask, sanitise hands frequently and maintain social distancing.
