St Francis Xavier Church in Harbour Mormugao on Sunday celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Hundreds of devotees flocked to the church to seek blessings of St Francis Xavier and offered prayers on Sunday. Speaking to reporters, Fr Dominic Carvalho, parish priest of St Francis Xavier church, said that the he had invited many devotees and parishioners to visit the church and to seek blessings. "We had organized various games, musical shows by the Goan performers on Sunday. The environment was so amazing that many parishioners decorated the church and helped make this event a success," said Carvalho.
