A major traffic jam stretched from Ribandar to the bus stand and beyond due to repairs on the Patto bridge. The work to fix a broken gap on the bridge is being carried out during peak hours, causing traffic to move at a snail's pace. This is the third time that authorities are attempting to fill the gaps on the bridge.

PANAJIThe Chief Minister referred to the opposition as "Pandavas," indirectly implying that his own party is like the "Kauravas". After making this comparison, he asked who among them corresponds to which character from the epic. Opposition leader Yuri Alemao responded sharply, asserting that the ruling party has its own "Duryodhana, Dushasan, and Shakuni", with all of them competing to be the worst among them.
